Nick was born and raised in Powell, OH where his father, Joel, served as pastor at Shepherd of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. He graduated from Luther Preparatory School in 2012, Martin Luther College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts, and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary with Master of Divinity. While attending WLS, Nick’s Vicar year (internship) was spent at Abiding Peace Lutheran in Simpsonville, SC.
Nick and Emily (nee Neeb) were married in 2018. Emily graduated from MLC in 2017 where she received her degree in Early Childhood Education. Emily was born and raised in Gilbert, AZ.
The Jenswolds are blessed with three children, Jude, Evelyn, and Henry. When Nick graduated from the seminary in 2020, he was assigned to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and has loved serving God and his people here in Kearney.
